Hi!  I'm Maelynn and this is my bow box!

Well, sorta.  Mama calls me Mae-Mae most of the time.  But this is definitely my bow box... well, the overflow.  See, Mama had two boys first, and while they're awesome and all, she really wanted a baby girl.  When she got me, oh my WORD, in came the pink and PINK, bows, tulle, dresses, ribbon... you get the point.  Since I love dressing up like crazy (Mama says I quit crying when she put a dress on me my first time to go to church) and I love being the princess in the family,  and Mama is completely obsessed with making bows, I decided I'd open my bow box to y'all.  Now, aren't I a smart lil' ol' Texas girl?  I mean, I might as well make a little money on all these fabulous bows, seein' as I only have one head and all.  After all, I gotta have more shoes and purses and little tiny tiaras!  But shhh!  Don't tell Mama...

A little more about Mama's fabulous bows...

Mama loves me like crazy... tells me that all the time!  And I've watched her make these things.  She sews them carefully so that I won't hurt myself chewin' on 'em.  Even a princess has to teethe on SOMETHING, and they're right there... well, you get the point.  You can be assured that Mama would never put something on your princess's head that she wouldn't put on mine.  The ribbons are sewn together, then sewn onto an alligator clip, clip with a closure and spring, or a headband.  The headband ones are great for those of us who are a little, shall we say, challenged in the hair department.  If you want a style or color you don't see here, just let me know and I'll put a bug in Mama's ear and we'll see what we can do.

A little more about my family...

I'm so thankful that God put me in such a sweet family!  My Daddy is a band director here in Texas, and that's what Mama used to do 'till she started havin' all of us.  Mama and Daddy are absolutely crazy about each other.  My oldest brother is Ryan, the next is Richie, then me.  Ryan's five and Richie's two.  Richie and I want to tell you how proud we are of our big brother Ryan!  He has Autism, so he has a hard time sayin' what he's thinkin' and feelin', but he loves me and Richie, and shows us in his own way.  We're so proud of him... it's so hard for him to do everyday things.  Sometimes when we're out and shoppin' for more ribbon, Ryan acts in ways that make people uncomfortable sometimes, so I'm gonna devote one of these pages to explaining Autism a little, and you can even buy a bow to wear to show your support!
